The Warden of the MRC told CHIP 101,9 that the Mayors of the MRC have begun to take measures to avoid any conflict of interest when dealing with certain files. The Mayors of the MRC Pontiac will be trained on ethic and transparency in the coming weeks.

Council 1531 of the Knights of Columbus in Pembroke will host a CPR/Defibrillator certification seminar at the K of C Hall on Oct. 23, starting at 7 p.m. This program is open to the community and all are welcome to attend.
