At a ceremony held last weekend, two Pontiac residents, Charlotte St-Pierre-Boucher from Fort-Coulonge/Mansfield and Tyler LaSalle of l’Ile-du-Grand-Calumet, each received a medal from the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec , Michel Doyon, for volunteering in their community. Tyler Lasalle tells us more about it in this interview with Eric O’Brien.

Starting April 22nd, Quebec (Pontiac) residents who shop at the Metro will be able to bring their reusable containers and zipper bags to purchase fresh products such as deli, meat, fish, and pastry. The service counters will accept reusable plastic containers or zipper bags for products drop off. An online guide is available at Metro.ca.
