Uncontested Victory for the Comets in Maniwaki
The Pontiac Comets were uncontested over the weekend winning 7-2 in Maniwaki against the Forestiers. This first win of the year for the Comets, highlighted their impressive forwards and the pressure on the forward check.
Quickly the Comets took the lead in the first period, with a 5-0 lead after 20 minutes of play. The goaltender, Danick Boisvert was given the first star of the game.
Note that the Comets’ Hugo Petit scored two goals.
The next Comets game will take place in Mont-Tremblant next Saturday. They will face Mont-Tremblant Diables, an expansion team which have not yet won after 3 games.
