Dr. Wilbert Joseph Keon originally from Sheenboro, died on Sunday, April 7th, at the age of 83. Keon founded the University of Ottawa Heart Institute on may 11th, 1976. CHIP 101.9 had a chance to talk to Pierre Bédard, a long time friend and colleague in this interview with Eric O’Brien;

A fundraiser in support in support of Jean-Guy Lévesque, a cancer patient Pontiac, will be held over the weekend. The event, which takes place on Saturday, April 13th at the Pembroke Knights of Columbus Hall, 170 Ellis Ave, starting at 8 pm will also feature the Heartbreakers. It is $ 5 per person.
