A woman died in the municipality of Pontiac last night due to water levels on Clarendon Street. It would seem that a culvert gave out causing the women’s vehicle to be submerged in a sinkhole. At a ceremony held last weekend, two Pontiac residents, Charlotte St-Pierre-Boucher from Fort-Coulonge/Mansfield and Tyler LaSalle of l’Ile-du-Grand-Calumet, each received a medal from the Lieutenant Governor of Quebec , Michel Doyon, for volunteering in their community. Tyler Lasalle tells us more about it in this interview with Eric O’Brien.
