Shawville Lions Country Jamboree returning for 11th year next week
The Shawville Lions Country Jamboree is returning next week from Thursday to Sunday, bringing dozens of trailers and RVs to Armstrong Heritage Farm just outside town.
Lions President and Clarendon Mayor Ed Walsh explained that this is the 11th year that the Lions have put on the event, after taking it on from previous organizers.
The lineup is a mix of talent from both sides of the Ottawa Valley and as usual, there will be an open mic night on Thursday for aspiring up and comers. Walsh said that they’ve been rebuilding their numbers since the pandemic and said that they were hoping to have more than 150 trailers, up from roughly 130 last year.
