The Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais sent an email yesterday to the media revealing that a delay in delivery of Pfizer doses caused the closure of the appointments still available on Clic-Santé.

“The appointments already scheduled should be honored.” Walk-in mode at vaccination sites will be performed with Moderna only. The time slots on Clic-Santé are currently closed and will be reopened as soon as we receive the doses of Pfizer vaccines. Delivery is scheduled for next week, ”revealed the CISSS de l’Outaouais.

Note also that the CISSS de l’Outaouais mentioned that erroneous information was circulating concerning the possible closure of the emergency room at the Gatineau Hospital. The CISSS de l’Outaouais has tried to rectify this situation.

“Since erroneous information is circulating that the Gatineau Hospital emergency room would be closed, we simply wish to confirm that the emergency room remains open to the population, 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, ”wrote the information officer – Media relations, Marie-Pier Després.
