National Bank spokesperson discusses relocation of Shawville branch

Following the recent news that the National Bank will be relocating their branch in Shawville, from downtown at the corner of rue Centre and rue Main, to the strip mall along Hwy. 148, CHIP 101.9 spoke with Alexandre Guay, a senior public affairs advisor with the bank to learn more about the move.

He explained that the relocation was part of a larger restructuring and renovation of the bank’s branches, and said that it would take place later in 2023, though he didn’t have an exact date. He said that customers would be receiving notice 3-4 months before the move takes place, and they will have an information session with clients to answer any questions. Guay added that the National Bank would be investing more than $1,000,000 in the new location.
