The municipality of Mansfield urged its citizens to find the people responsible for the vandalism at the Centre des loisirs des Draveurs (Fort-Coulonge arena) on Monday, September 2nd. Many pieces of equipment were broken, such as the cash registers, vending machines and office equipment. The Facebook post also mentions that the municipalities of Mansfield and Fort-Coulonge are working together and are participating in fundraisers to ensure the survival of the arena.

Note that the Sûreté du Québec has been notified and an investigation is currently underway. The municipality is asking people with information on this case to contact the Campbell’s Bay police station directly (819-648-2141). Following the vandalism, a GOFUNDME page was created to help the arena invest in a security system. The description says: ’’This establishment is important to our community, let us unite to make it more secure.’’
