The Municipality of Pontiac has launched its new website, described as more functional for taxpayers.

“Believing in the development of our next generation, it is with pride that the Municipality forged links, a year ago, with the Cégep de l’Outaouais in order to solicit the contribution of their graduating students in the field of multimedia. Since then, it is the talent of several students that has been put to use as part of this major website redesign project,”said the Municipality of Pontiac.

New is a news feed with the main news from the municipality, including public notices and municipal council agendas. The municipality also took the opportunity to launch their new logo.

“The finalization of this new site was carried out by a single student and these final steps now represent the success of her end-of-study internship. It is important to mention that this school project was carried out as part of a”business class“and therefore carried out under the supervision and guidance of a qualified teacher, Mr. Jean Boudreau”, specifies the municipality. The website is accessible here.
