During the Christmas Market at the George Bryson Cultural House, CHIP 101.9 spoke with the General Manager of the Caisse Desjardins des Rivières de Pontiac, Stéphane Labine. He revealed that plans for their new building at 243 rue Hérault in Mansfield-et-Pontefract will be unveiled shortly. He said that the blue garage currently on the property will be destroyed to make way for a new modern building offering services adapted to the population.

“If all goes as planned, people should be able to see the blueprints of what the building will actually look like, which will be on site in 2022. It will be available very soon,” Labine said (translated).

The plan is expected to be unveiled next week (December 12-17). Even though the COVID-19 pandemic is still present, the Caisse wishes to open the new building in the fall of 2022.

The full (French-language) interview with Labine is available here.
