Students of the Centre de service scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais (CSSHBO) and the Western Quebec School Board (WQSB) recently received official statements announcing that school transport would be functioning for the start of the school year next week.

Parents of children at l’École secondaire Sieur-de-Coulonge (ESSC) received a letter confirming that school transport would be offered this Tuesday (August 30).

In a letter to parents, WQSB Director General Mike Dubeau stated that while a formal agreement wasn’t yet nailed down, the buses would be rolling next week.

“Although we have not yet reached an agreement with our local transportation companies, they have all agreed to provide transportation for our students as we continue to negotiate local terms under the provincial funding agreement,” the statement reads.
