This weekend, the Otter Lake Recreation Association will be hosting a ball tournament at their grounds in the centre of town.

RA President Shane Presley said that in addition to the action on the diamond, there would be some special entertainment lined up as well. Local lad CJ Piché will be playing guitar and performing for the first time on stage Friday night starting at 9 p.m. Saturday morning there will be a pancake breakfast starting at 8 a.m. and in the evening entertainment will be provided by DJ Dany Ladouceur, starting at 9 p.m.

Presley explained that the RA is currently fundraising to build a splash pad for the community, and all proceeds will go towards that goal. He estimated that they would need to raise around $30,000 for the project.

The full interview with Presley (4m) is available here.
