There will be an open-house this weekend at the newly opened seniors home in Portage-du-Fort, Manoir Meril.

The event will take place on both Saturday and Sunday (November 6 and 7) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Attendees will be able to tour the premises and have all their questions answered by the owners.

Only two of the newly renovated building’s eight units are currently occupied. The Manoir is located in what used to be the Auberge Mont Blanc restaurant on chemin du Calumet.
