New radio bingo this Thursday

17 November 2020 à 12:00 am

For the first time in decades, Knights of Columbus Council 7221 bingo will be presented on CHIP 101.9 this Thursday, November 19 at 7 p.m. Previously presented at the Parish Hall in Fort-Coulonge, the Knights of Columbus Council 7221 have not been able to have their bingo since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, depriving the community of various donations.

“This year, we were not able to give scholarships to students. We really want to be able to contribute to our community. By presenting bingo via CHIP 101,9, we now have access to a vast distribution network. We also think that we will have more financial sums to give to the community if we succeed in retaining a clientele ” believes the head of the Knights of Columbus Council 7221, Jeannot Bilodeau.

Thanks to this partnership with CHIP 101.9, the Knights of Columbus have the chance to sell their cards in nearly thirty merchants in Pontiac. The bingo will take place every Thursday at 7 p.m. on the radio for the next few weeks.

Cards for this new radio bingo are sold for $ 6 each and players have the chance to win prizes totaling $ 1,200. Luc Sicard, who hosted Knights of Columbus Council 7221 indoor bingo for many years, will be the announcer for this radio bingo.
