Green thumbs in the area eager to get into the garden this summer should be aware that there is a new business opening up near Quyon to serve their needs. The Homegrown Garden Centre is the brainchild of Lindsay Hamilton, who co-owns Mountainview Turf Farm, and will open its doors at 10 a.m. this Saturday May 7. She said that it was a project that was a long time in the making.

The garden centre is located at 4790 5th Concession in the Municipality of Pontiac and will be open 7 days a week from 10 am until 4 p.m. Hamilton said that there would be a wide variety of both annuals and perennials, along with bagged soil and other material.

The full interview with Hamilton is available here.
