The Renfrew-Nipissing-Pembroke NDP issued a press release Monday expressing outrage over the recent racist attack of an 80-year-old woman (Thi Nga Doan) on August 20 in Pembroke. According to the former NDP candidate during the 2019 Federal election and NDP executive member, Eileen Jones-Whyte, the NDP wanted to inform the public that this type of racism happens in all regions across the country.
