The Quyon ferry announced a suspension of service on Monday, due to the spring flood and the evacuation of the village of Quyon. The Municipality of Pontiac is asking its residents to evacuate the following streets immediately:
– Ferry way
– St. George Street
– St. Andrew Street
– St. John Street
– St. Patrick Street
– McCann Street
– Church Street
– Bruce Street
– Anne Street
A resident of Quyon spoke with CHIP during yesterdays evacuation to describe the unwelcomed experience.

For more information about the status of the Quyon ferry you can follow their Facebook page and website for the reopening date. As a reminder; all evacuated residents must report to the Luskville Community Center by 8:00 pm tonight to register.
