The commission scolaire des Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais (CSHBO) issued a resolution a few weeks ago about its role as a school board that borders another province. CSHBO Director Fernand Paré explains what motivates the adoption of such a resolution that asks the minister of education for help when it comes to better train those in the Outaouais, to better compete with Ontario:

Fernand Paré took the opportunity at the meeting to invite Pontiac residents to public consultation sessions, organized with the aim of involving all parents, staff and various partners in the drafting of their Commitment to Success Plan in relation to the Ministry of Education’s Educational Success Policy.

For the Establishment des Petits-ponts and Sieur-de-Coulonge, the meetings will be held on the following dates and places:
March 13 for the Campbell’s Bay and Ile-du-Grand-Calumet area at l’école Ste-Anne,
March 14 for the Otter Lake Area at l’école Ste-Marie,
March 19 for the Fort-Coulonge and Mansfield Area at Sieur-de-Coulonge
March 20 for the Isle-aux-Allumettes area at l’école Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Cœur.
All listed consultations will begin at 7 pm.
