31 January 2020 à 12:00 am

POLITICS – CHIP 101.9 was visited by the leadership candidate of the Liberal Party of Quebec (PLQ), Dominique Anglade, who is also the MNA for Saint-Henri-Sainte-Anne (Montreal region) and former Deputy-Prime Minister of Quebec. Her visit in the Pontiac was due to an initiative by the MNA for Pontiac, André Fortin, whose goal is to increase the importance of the Pontiac, regarding the Party platform, at the National Assembly.

When asked about her priorities, Anglade said that her plan is to establish a “regional charter” to adequately meet the needs of the different regions of Quebec.

The full interview with Dominique Anglade and André Fortin can be found here in both French and in English.

NOTE – According to Fortin, the Pontiac should receive a visit around March from Alexandre Cusson, another PLQ leadership candidate, the mayor of Drummondville. The congress to determine the next leader of the Party will be held on May 30 and 31, 2020 in Quebec.
