30 year old Fort-Coulonge man presents false ID

A 30-year-old man from Fort-Coulonge was pulled over by the MRC des Collines police, after traveling 132 km/h on highway 148 (90km/h zone limit) in Quyon (Pontiac) at around 5:40 this morning (Wednesday).

Officers intercepted the individual in question who allegedly gave the police false identification. Once the identity of the driver was known, the police found that the individual in question did not have a valid driver’s license.

The 30-year-old man from Fort-Coulonge received six different fines totalling: $1, 913. His vehicle was seized for 30 days. He was released pending further judicial proceedings.
