The annual Bouffe Pontiac Food Drive will take place on Thursday, December 5, at three locations across the MRC Pontiac, where volunteers and partners of Bouffe Pontiac will collect donations from motorists.

From 6 am to 9 am, volunteers will collect donations at the intersection of highway 148 and highway 301 North in Campbell’s Bay and at the intersection of highway 148 and Pembroke Road, in the municipality of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes.

From 6:30 am to 9:00 am, they will also be volunteers in Shawville at the intersection of Main Street and Center (at traffic lights) and the intersection of Main and Clarendon Street.

Bouffe Pontiac will be accepting food and monetary donations. Thanks to these donations, the organization will distribute 200 Christmas baskets to families in the MRC Pontiac in need. People can also donate via their Facebook page..

Bouffe Pontiac is asking motorists driving at these intersections to give generously, but especially to drive safely to ensure the safety of volunteers and everyone.
In 2018, Bouffe Pontiac raised $8,850 and 335 kilograms of food during the food drive
