Winter storm warning for the Pontiac

17 January 2022 à 12:00 am

Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for the Pontiac this Monday January 17. The tempest will dump between 15 and 25 cm of snow on the region today. Combined with blowing wind, visibility is limited.

“Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Winter storm warnings are issued when multiple types of severe winter weather are expected to occur together,” the statement reads.

More updates will be provided throughout the day.
