Winston Sunstrum believes the resolution surrounding the bio-park was passed by the mayors of the MRC
The mayor of L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, Winston Sunstrum, explained that according to his point of view, the resolution of the meeting of January 20 at the MRC, concerning the bio-park and the revival of the forest industry, was adopted. This is what he explained during an interview with CHIP 101.9. Mr. Sunstrum believes that the procedures surrounding this resolution have been completed, unlike some of the mayors who think that what has been said rather is that the discussions should resume. CHIP 101.9 got Winston Sunstrum’s perspective.
The MRC Pontiac should give more details on this matter in the coming hours.
Remember that the issue of reviving the forestry industry in the Pontiac divided elected officials. Last December, after a 9-9 vote, MRC Pontiac Warden, Jane Toller, had decided by voting for the imposition of conditions for the consultant of the Center for the valorization of biomass, Pierre Vézina, who saw his contract end.
