It’s a new year! With the holiday madness behind us and winter officially underway, we now have time to enjoy the snow and all the joys of winter! The Outaouais region is brimming with activities of all kinds, and in January, we’ve got a whole host of events lined up for you! Annie Léveillée from Tourisme Outaouais gives us an overview of what you can see and do in the Outaouais region:
Step out of your comfort zone with L’Échappée Bleue. Put on a dry suit and conquer the Petite Nation River on a paddleboard! In a small group, explore the waterways accompanied by an experienced, certified guide. SUP des glaces. Discover the region from a new angle and admire the snow-covered landscapes while enjoying an activity that lets you connect with nature.
Make the most of winter with a cross-country ski or snowshoe outing in the Sentiers Les Renards Blancs,
a site of the Corporation plein air de la Lièvre. Discover 15 km of groomed cross-country ski trails and 10 km of snowshoe trails.
