“We’re moving on” – Eric Gauthier

Yesterday, CHIP 101.9 learned that there will be no junior hockey team in the municipality of Shawville, in the Canadian Premier Junior Hockey League (CPJHL). According to the president of the Maniwaki Mustang, Éric Gauthier, who was also in charge of creating a team in Shawville, this is due to lack of support from the community.

Gauthier said that the league has now decided to “move on” and no other attempt in establishing a team in Shawville will be put forward.
