Well-being, Outdoor Activities and Family Programming at Coulonge Falls Park
Coulonge Falls Park is enjoying a beautiful winter season and is inviting the community to reconnect with nature through a winter program focused on well-being, outdoor activities, and community connection.
Throughout the winter, visitors can take part in a variety of activities, including wellness retreats at the falls, yoga sessions, snowshoe outings, and yurt rentals, all offering warm and welcoming experiences set against the spectacular winter landscape of Coulonge Falls.
The next wellness retreat at the falls will take place from February 28 to March 1, 2026. This immersive weekend is designed to help participants slow down and recharge through sound bath meditation, guided yoga, facilitated art workshops, snowshoe excursions, cooking over an open fire, and other nature-based activities that promote rest and renewal.
The public is also warmly invited to attend the next Annual General Meeting of the Coulonge Falls Foundation, to be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. Open to everyone, this meeting is an opportunity to learn more about the organization’s work, its upcoming projects, and ways to get involved.
New for 2026, Coulonge Falls Park is launching a spring break camp that will give children the opportunity to make the most of their school break through a hands-on, dynamic outdoor program in an exceptional natural setting. The camp will offer winter games and cooperative outdoor activities, challenges using the low ropes course, and an introduction to basic outdoor survival skills such as fire-starting and cooking over a fire, shelter building, animal tracking, and snowshoeing. The program emphasizes exploration, self-confidence development, and learning through direct experience in nature. Registration is required, and space is limited.
Coulonge Falls Park also announces that recruitment for summer positions will begin shortly. This represents an exceptional opportunity to work outdoors, receive specialized training in wilderness and aerial activities, and be part of one of the region’s most rewarding summer employment experiences. Positions will include park rangers and aerial guides, with job postings to be released soon.
Posters for all upcoming activities are attached to this release and will be distributed by email to partners and media outlets.
