“We will be meeting with the Sûreté du Québec” -Jane Toller

In her daily update, The Warden of the MRC Pontiac Jane Toller revealed that there were still clarifications to be made regarding the roadside checkpoints in the Pontiac. She explained that she and the MNA for Pontiac, André Fortin, will soon meet with the Sûreté du Québec to discuss the situation regarding essential travel. Toller also mentioned that the MRC is looking in to possibility of reopening the SAAQ office two days weeks.

Jane Toller also revealed that the MRC Pontiac will soon be looking into emergency assistance to businesses that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, when talking about the highlights of the most recent regional council of mayors meeting.
