Water level update in Mansfield-et-Pontefract
Water level update in Mansfield-et-Pontefract
The Municipality of Mansfield-et-Pontefract informs residents that water levels on the Ottawa and Coulonge rivers are showing encouraging signs, but vigilance remains essential.
On the Ottawa River, the level currently stands at 108.53 metres, slightly down from this year’s peak. The Coulonge River is also receding, with a noticeable drop observed at the White Bridge.
Despite this improvement, the municipality reminds residents that the situation is still under close monitoring and forecasts may change. It is therefore very important not to remove flood protection measures.
Several roads remain closed due to water and debris. Residents are asked to respect restricted access areas for their safety. Driving on closed roads may result in fines.
The Félix-Gabriel-Marchand Bridge remains closed, while the White Bridge is still accessible.
If you need assistance or in case of emergency, contact municipal services or dial 911.
