Waste from flooding in Pontiac; Containers in place until June 12

In a publication via their Facebook page last Friday, the Municipality of Pontiac told its residents that containers are in place until June 12 for flood trash and debris.

Residents are also asked to be patient since the large amount of waste in the containers complicates the work of the contractors who must empty them regularly to make room.

The municipality of Pontiac reminds the public that waste such as tires or propane cylinders are prohibited.
