Virtual summer job fair to be held April 10

The Carrefour jeunesse Emploi du Pontiac will once again be hosting a virtual summer job fair later this month, allowing potential employees and their prospective employers to mix and prepare for the end of the school year.

Melissa Piché of the Carrefour explained that the event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 10, with access points in all Pontiac’s high schools and adult education centres. Piché said that they had been conducting workshops with students throughout the year to polish up their resumes and improve their interview skills. She said that the main target for this event is young people ages 15 to 30.

There will also be access points available at the Carrefour offices in Campbell’s Bay (80 rue Leslie).
