Village Festival 2026: Citizens invited to submit their ideas

Baume Street in Fort-Coulonge will once again be buzzing with activity on August 8th, 2026, for the Village en fête event, which will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year, organizers hope to involve the community more in the event’s preparation by launching a call for ideas to create a program that reflects the tastes and interests of the community.

Residents are invited to submit their suggestions for food, including food trucks, poutine, BBQ, pizza, and desserts, as well as booths featuring local artisans, producers, and businesses.

The program could also include music, entertainment, family activities for children, and special exhibitions or demonstrations showcasing the local community.

Organizers also encourage residents to suggest businesses, artists, musicians, or organizations they would like to see participate in the event.

The goal is to make this 2026 edition a unifying day that truly represents the community of Fort-Coulonge and the surrounding area.

The event will be held on August 8th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Baume Street. The public is invited to share their ideas and contribute to the success of this festive day.
