Vaccinations for students to begin June 8

Starting Tuesday, June 8, students from the Western Quebec School Board (WQSB) will have the option to be vaccinated against COVID-19. As explained by the Director General of the WQSB, Mike Dubeau, the students will be brought by bus to the designated vaccination centers in the region.

Mike Dubeau also explained that a mobile vaccination unit will be sent to schools that are far away from the vaccination center, such as the Chapeau and Quyon schools.

More information on student vaccination will be sent to parents and/or guardians, and is also available via the WQSB website.
