Update on last Friday’s fatal car crash in Burnstown, Ont.

Police confirm that alcohol contributed to a crash that killed two teens and injured two others on Calabogie road near Burnstown.

Alex Paquette, died from his injuries after being taken off life support, Ontario Provincial Police said Monday.

He was one of four teens in a car when the car went off the road after midnight and struck a rock.

Police said three of the teens were not wearing seatbelts and were ejected from the car.

Brandon Hanniman who was driving, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Both Ben Scheuneman and Jake McGrimmon, suffered injuries as a result of the crash.

Scheuneman remains hospitalised, in critical condition. McGrimmon has been released from hospital according to the OPP.
