Update from Campbell’s Bay

Two months in to this COVID-19 pandemic, the CHIP 101.9 newsroom contacted the mayor of the municipality of Campbell’s Bay Maurice Beauregard, to learn more about how the municipality is handling the new measures during this crisis. Although, no cases have been confirmed in the MRC Pontiac thus far, Beauregard stated that they are still feeling the effects of the situation.

After beginning certain municipal projects last fall, such as the municipal splash pad, the municipality of Campbell’s Bay was forced to postpone works due to the arrival and measures associated to the COVID-19 Pandemic. According to Maurice Beauregard, the municipality will continue the municipal splash pad project in the coming days along with other municipal works.

Answering residents’ questions:

Due to the current circumstances of COVID-19 regarding public attendance during municipal meetings, the municipality of Campbell’s Bay is currently asking its residents to ask their question via Facebook, as Explained by Maurice Beauregard.
