On Friday, February 6, the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais held a swearing-in ceremony for Mathias Morin and Samuel Martineau-Charles, the newest officers of the Public Security Service. The event took place at the Luskville Community Centre and was attended by colleagues, family members, friends, elected officials, citizens, and media representatives.
This ceremony continues a new tradition established by the MRC des Collines, in which all new police officers are publicly sworn in. The initiative highlights their commitment to the community in the presence of employees, partners, citizens, and the media.
Samuel Martineau-Charles, from Chelsea, graduated in Police Technology in 2025 and is a member of the 275th cohort of the École nationale de police du Québec. He is committed to serving the community with judgment, empathy, and respect.
Mathias Morin, from Maniwaki, graduated in Police Technology in 2024 and is a member of the 271st cohort of the École nationale de police du Québec. He pledges to serve with diligence, compassion, and professionalism, particularly in support of vulnerable individuals.
The MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais warmly congratulates Mr. Samuel Martineau-Charles and Mr. Mathias Morin on their official entry into the Public Security Service and wishes them every success in their new roles.
