Two injured in an accident involving the Quyon ferry

An accident involving the Quyon ferry and a pontoon yesterday (Monday) at approximately 5pm. Witnessed said that there were two adults and a child on board the pontoon when the pontoon struck the Ferry. Both adults were injured in the accident, one suffering severe injuries. The Ottawa Fire Department reportedly intervened, assisted by Quebec firefighters and police from the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais.

The wounded were taken to hospital on the Ontario side. It should be noted that no one on board the ferry was injured. The ferry is now open again. Further details regarding this accident should be issued.
