The Youth Center in Sainte-Cécile-de-Masham has moved.
Le Mashado Youth Center has relocated just a short distance from its former site. However, it has undergone a complete makeover. Their office is now located at 77 Main Street in Sainte-Cécile-de-Masham and features a large backyard for outdoor activities. Normand Veillette, Development Officer at Loisir Sport Outaouais, shares more about their new facilities:
A video game area with sofas is available for participants, along with a “chill” zone for socializing. A computer is also provided on-site for research or homework.
Around one hundred people attended the opening. The outgoing mayor of La Pêche, Mr. Guillaume Lamoureux, and the outgoing prefect, Mr. Marc Carrière, were present. Several local business owners contributed to funding this initiative, demonstrating that the youth center is firmly rooted at the heart of its community.
