The construction work of the Résidence Meilleur du Haut-Pontiac officially started yesterday, on Isle-aux-Allumettes. The building, requiring investments totaling more than $ 3.1 million, should include 12 affordable housing units for seniors who need a bit of help day to day but who can handle a certain level of independence. 9 of these units will have one bedroom and 3 units will have 2. There will be a common area including a kitchen and laundry.
