The TNO Council adopts their 2020 budget
During the December meeting, the Non-Organized Territory (TNO) Council voted to adopt a budget of $ 719,809 for 2020, an increase of $ 28,643 from the 2019 budget.
According to a release issued by the MRC Pontiac this week, this increase was appropriated from the accumulated surplus and will not impact the tax rate, which is maintained at $0.725 per $100 of assessment.
The basic amounts included in the tax rate are as follows:
- Residential buildings – $ 90 (cottages, hunting, trapping and forestry camps, vacant and under construction buildings, camping and caravanning…)
- Outfitters with exclusive rights and without exclusive rights – $ 500
- Waste management – $ 57
