Following the government’s announcement of allowing gatherings of up to 50 people, churches across the province were allowed to reopen for masses and funerals on June 22. In an interview with Father Justin Bertrand, he explained how people will be allowed to gather for Church on Sundays.
According to Father Bertrand, funerals will now be held on Tuesdays due to them being postponed during the first months of the pandemic.
Father Justin Bertrand added that for the time being, drive through confessions will continue along with Facebook lives of the Sunday mass as a way to encourage elderly parishioners to stay within the confines of their homes to take part in mass.
It may be important to note that the Sunday morning mass is broadcasted live on CHIP 101.9 on Sundays at 10:30am.
