The SQ reminds residents to be attentive
The search to find the 30-year-old snowmobiler who disappeared in L’Isle-aux-Allumettes was stopped last week and has not resumed since. Divers from the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) dove several times after receiving information from the public, but dangerous conditions prevented them from continuing the search. The SQ asked residents to pay particular attention to the banks of the river. The victim was wearing an orange and black snowmobile coat. The man from L’Isle-aux-Allumettes has been missing since Friday, February 12. The latter’s snowmobile was found in the Ottawa River on Sunday February 14. The research was concentrated on the edge of the Ottawa River.
