The Shawville Fair celebrates its 170th anniversary from September 3rd to 7th

The Shawville Fair will return from September 3rd to 7th, 2026, for a very special edition as the event celebrates its 170th anniversary. True to its reputation as the quintessential family fair in the Ottawa Valley, the organizers promise five days of activities, agricultural competitions, shows, and entertainment for all ages.

Among the headliners of this anniversary edition, the Canadian band Big Wreck will take the stage on Friday, September 4th, accompanied by the band Sussex. On Saturday, September 5th, rising country star Jackson Dean will perform, with The Timber Line opening. Finally, on Sunday, September 6th, American singer-songwriter Chris Janson will close out the festivities, preceded by the Phil Denault Band.

Beyond the shows, visitors can enjoy the rides at Beauce Carnaval, agricultural exhibits, livestock competitions, tractor demonstrations, equestrian competitions, vendor booths, on-site food, and activities for families and children.

The Shawville Expo remains one of the region’s most important agricultural and festive events and intends to celebrate its 170th edition in style, bringing together rural traditions, music, and entertainment from September 3rd to 7th at the Shawville Fairgrounds.
