The Sécurité publique des Collines confirms the death of Gaëtan Derouin, 21 years old from Ile du-Grand-Calumet
The Service de la Sécurité publique of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais confirmed on Friday (March 26), the death of Gaëtan Derouin, a 21 year old from l’Ile du-Grand-Calumet, who was the front passenger of the car involved in an aciident that occurred on Saturday March 20 on the Chemin de la Montagne in Chelsea.
This accident only involved only one vehicle, near 195 chemin de la Montagne in Chelsea. At the time of the incident, three men were in the vehicle. The driver, Aramis Vigeant, a 22 year old from Gatineau, is also deceased following the accident. The rear passenger, a 20-year-old man from Gatineau, was not injured despite being thrown from the car. The Service de la Sécurité publique of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais had mentioned that the hypothesis to explain this crash would be speeding.
