Last Thursday (June 9), the Annual General Meeting of the SADC Pontiac was held in the Quyon sector of the Municipality of Pontiac. Another highlight of the most recent year was the move of the SADC, which was previously located in Campbell’s Bay and whose offices are now on rue Baume in Fort-Coulonge.
” Yes that’s it. We have been in our new building since last summer, since 2021. It is in the heart of the village as you mentioned. We are very, very happy as a team to have come to the village of Fort-Coulonge. As I mentioned, last night at the AGM, it gives us a different vibe, because we were on, as you know, in Campbell’s Bay, on route 148 for several years, over 20 years old. Then, it’s a different atmosphere to be in a village center. We have a lot of people stopping to come and say hello. Then we have Café Downtown. Now we have the theater which has just reopened. First, there has been revitalization in the municipality, I would say in the last year, which is good. »
