The Royal Canadian Legion, Pontiac Branch 162, celebrates its 80th anniversary

The Royal Canadian Legion, Pontiac Branch 162, will celebrate its 80th anniversary on Friday, October 2nd, 2026, with a special evening featuring dinner, music, and dancing.

A turkey dinner will be served starting at 5 p.m., at a cost of $30 per person. The dance will then begin at 7 p.m., featuring a performance by Ben Chabot.

Tickets must be paid in advance, and electronic transfers are accepted.

This celebration will also be an opportunity to honor Branch 162’s eight decades of service to the Pontiac community.

Good food, good music, and a sense of community will be on hand to mark this 80th anniversary.
