The regional Council of Mayors meeting for September

The mayors of the MRC Pontiac held their monthly meeting last night in Campbell’s Bay for the month of September, where three people from the audience were in attendance.

As announced last month, the Warden of the MRC Pontiac, Jane Toller, opened the meeting by reading the declaration on the use of language of choice, with the aim of ensuring citizens present who wish to ask questions, that their questions or opinions can be asked and answered using their language of choice.

Among the points discussed during last night meeting, were the numerous resolutions such as the agreement of inter-municipal mutual assistance in the event of civil security, support for school commissioners and school boards, and many others.
