The project “La réussite pour tous” led by the CSHBO is “paying off”
Since the implementation of the project ”La réussite pour tous” (success for all) project, the staff of the Hauts-Bois-de-l’Outaouais School Board (CSHBO) have noted an increase in its’ students passing rates in the last three years.
According to the CSHBO’s press release, the proportion of students who graduate, before the age of 20, has increased by 10.7% in December of 2018 for students who started between 2011 and 2013, and an increase of graduating students of 6.3% in June of 2019 for students who started between 2012 and 2014.
The initiative “La Réussite pour tous” has been put in place to allow non-graduate students to better assess their options for obtaining a diploma or qualification. The CSHBO says it has “intensified its efforts last year and shows innovation and adaptation to meet the students who have left school or at high risk of dropping out”.
Information on the courses, the programs that will start soon and the jobs in demand are made available to these students. Two councillors in school training and a development officer will continue the work to support the school teams by devoting themselves exclusively to the accompaniment of these students.
The CSHBO plans to continue its project and invites any student aged 20 and under who has not obtained a first diploma or qualification to contact 719-449-7866, extension 17255
