The Pontiac RLS now has 7 active cases
A few hours before the press conference by the Premier of Quebec, François Legault, aimed at announcing measures for confinement, the Centre intégré de santé et de services sociaux (CISSS) de l’Outaouais published statistics for the day, revealing that the number of cases in the Pontiac Local Health Network (RLS), is also on the rise in recent days. In fact, the Pontiac RLS currently has seven (7) active cases compared to less than 5 last week.
A total of 59 positive cases have been recorded in the Pontiac RLS since the start of the pandemic last March. Please note that the statistics for the number of COVID-19 cases by municipality have not yet been updated. So for the moment, the number of cases in the municipality of Pontiac (territory including Quyon, Eardley, Onslow, Luskville and Breckenridge) has counted 36 cases since the start of the pandemic. Statistics for Campbell’s Bay, Fort-Coulonge, Île-du-Grand-Calumet, Mansfield, Otter Lake and Shawville all show 5 cases or less so far. Remember that Premier François Legault will announce new confinement measures today (January 6) at 5 p.m.
