The Pontiac Journal invites the public to vote in their 2022 Readers’ Choice awards
Nominations are open currently for this year’s iteration of the Pontiac Journal’s Readers’ Choice awards. Residents will have until August 26 to submit their votes for their favorite business in the area, in a variety of categories, from professional services to restaurants. As the Journal’s general manager Lynne Lavery explained, this year they divided the Pontiac into three areas.
First, there is upper Pontiac, (including L’Isle-aux-Allumettes, Chapeau, Sheenboro, Waltham and Chichester), central Pontiac, (including Fort-Coulonge, Mansfield-et-Pontefract, Campbell’s Bay , Litchfield, Otter Lake, L’Ile-du-Grand-Calumet, Bryson), and eastern Pontiac, with (Shawville, Clarendon, Bristol, Thorne and the Municipality of Pontiac (including the areas from Quyon to Luskville).
The featured category this year is “Best long-standing business”. People who want to vote can do so directly in the Journal or via the website available here.
